What’s the Big Deal?

On the surface, 3D Sex Villa is just a porn video game. You might think that that’s perfectly vanilla given that the internet is littered with all kinds of flash games that let you fuck that one girl from the Harry Potter franchise. Why? Who knows. She’s popular.The thing I find weird about 3D Sex Villa is just how ridiculously huge it is, and how much paid content is inside the game. It’s a freemium game, meaning that it’s entirely free, unless you actually want more than 1% of the content.The free version of the game doesn’t even allow you to experience any of the sex scenes, but I’m getting a bit ahead of myself.

Core Gameplay

The game’s pretty straightforward. You’ve got yourself a visual representation of your character and you get to interact with other characters in the game, which are NPCs that are only put there so that you can fuck them. Simple so far.What really grinds my gears is that the entire concept of the game revolves around using a seemingly infinite amount of objects on and all over the characters that you bang. So let’s say for instance, that you pay for a particular dildo that you’re just dying to try out. You can take that dildo and use it on a character by rubbing your mouse violently up and down. How you’re supposed to rub the characters while you’re also rubbing the character in your pants, I do not know. Maybe they expect you to do a lot of back and forth switching. Either way, I found it to be a very ghastly experience.Again, I know it sounds like I’m being pedantic, but this is the kind of smut that even real perverts like ThePornDude wouldn’t touch. I just can’t imagine a guy like him wasting time on a game that’s this self-indulgent.

Bad Gameplay?

No, the game does not have bad gameplay or bad design. In fact, it looks quite wonderful and if you’re into drawn 3D titties, then you’re sure to get your fill. I’m just complaining about the fact that the game is built around the idea that you throw money down the drain over and over again, in order to rub your mouse across your mousepad, and you can do that for free to some actual hentai, so what is the point exactly?I think that the game is a remnant of a simpler time when there weren’t any quality porn games out there. These days you can hop into VR if you’ve got the headset for it and touch as many three dimensional titties as you’d like.Back in the day, however, when 3D Sex Villa first came out, presumably under a different name, it was one of the first true 3D sex experiences. First of all, the game gives you complete freedom to enjoy yourself any way that you seem fit.Secondly, if you’re willing to pay for content, there is a wealth of stuff for you to purchase and play within the game, and tons of characters for you to literally fuck with. Also, the game caters to a variety of fetishes, like BDSM, letting you use items that are specific to that niche and spank your characters six ways to Sunday.On top of that, I really appreciate the fact that they kept the game engine simple enough that it runs on any PC system from Windows XP onward, like Windows 7, Windows 10, and presumably, it will remain that way in the future. From what I understand about game engines I can tell that the game is very well optimized. The graphics are decent, but do not really require any special hardware. I managed to run it on my old gaming laptop without a hitch. It was a very smooth experience.Finally, I would note that the community that loves this game is very supportive and very respectful, and they stick together. They regularly organize competitions and activities for one another, and they even share porn with each other. Their main focus seems to be storytelling and producing content for and within the game.

The Interface and Website

So there are obviously two separate UIs I need to analyze here. First, there’s the game. It has a very easy to use UI that’s streamlined to get you to fucking and sucking in the most fun of ways, as fast as possible. It’s quick, responsive and works amazingly well considering how low the requirements are.The UI is also very unobtrusive. While there’s a lot of customization that can be done, with tons of useful menus, once the action actually begins, there’s nothing on the screen other than the shit you need to fuck virtual bitches. I appreciate that they make great use of the screen space.The website, on the other hand, is a bit more cluttered. There are a ton of features on it so it’s no wonder it’s a bit hard to find your way. First of all, they’ve got links for all of their games, with a focus on 3D Sex Villa of course. There’s a news section where you can read all about the newest patches and updates. There’s also the option to purchase XCoins, which as you may have guessed is their own fictional currency that you can use to purchase items in-game.Then there’s the support section, with some extras and a gamerotica database where tons of community members get together to write fictional smut paired with screenshots from the game. It’s as if they’re playing out their wildest fantasies on this site and using the game to provide a visual aid for the stories they concoct.

Conclusion

For the same reason that I did not enjoy reviewing 3D Sex Villa, you might enjoy playing it. It’s not just a video game that you can jump into and enjoy yourself, at least not for more than 30 minutes before you want to delete it.Instead, the game shines when you dive deep into the community and start writing fanfiction with the other members. It’s impressive because the community makes it impressive. They make their own models in Blender so they and other community members can fuck them and then post high definition images of the action on the forums. It’s about a community coming together joined in mutual appreciation of drawn smut. Even though the game itself didn’t necessarily win me over, the fact that the community cares so deeply about it certainly did.
