Redirects, attempts at pushing notifications, flashing ads everywhere, and they don’t stop. It’s definitely a pain to browse without some sort of ad blocker going. I don’t want to have to keep freeing a hand to close out some ads. But that’s really the worst you’ll have to put up with. There’s a header at the top of the homepage for “Tags, Artists, Series, Characters, Language, and a search bar.” All of these pages are very simple and set up the exact same way, except for the language tab. You simply get a drop-down of a few different languages for that. I like to set it to 日本語 to test my Japanese reading skills! But the other pages are basically lists of tags, artists, series, or characters with a number next to them for the number of doujinshi in that category or by that artist. And they have a lot of sexy tags! There are well over a couple hundred for nearly every letter in the alphabet. They have all of the good ones like tentacles, rape, furry, lolis, incest, stockings, and more. You get the first two pages to look at, and the first one slides out of the way when you hover your cursor over it to reveal the second. You also get a ton of information like if it is a series/original work, whether it’s considered a doujinshi or manga, what language it is in, when it was uploaded, who uploaded it, and you get a list of tags you can sort by as well. From there you click on the title or preview to get taken to another sort of preview page where you can decide whether you want to read it online, download it for free, or view related galleries. The gallery viewer is one of the best ones I have ever used. No more trying to pry apart the cum dried pages of my favorite mommy shota comics. Now, I can cum on the screen to my heart’s content. Though that’s not the only reason why it’s great. You flip through in the proper manga order (right to left) and you can use your arrow keys to change pages. You can also change whether the page is stretched to fit the entire screen vertically or horizontally, fullscreen the entire site, and choose if you want to get single pages at a time or full two page spreads. Hitomi.la has a pretty good mobile site, but it could still use a little bit of work. Just like on desktop, the ads can be frustrating at times. The site works well enough, but there’s some horizontal scrolling issues that threw me off at times and the doujinshi pages can be very small when loaded up in the gallery viewer. You’ll have to zoom in to read if you’re using a phone, but at least you can download any of them to get better resolution and full-screened pages that way.ThePornGeek’s Favorite Features
This was all around one of the best put together doujinshi sites I have had the pleasure of fapping to all day. All of the manga and doujinshi at Hitomi.la are full-length, organized perfectly, give credit to the artists, and are all free to read and download. You really can’t beat that!
