r/Doujinshi/, aka Doujinshi Reddit! I’ve been an Anime fan since the late 90s back when I used to collect Pokemon cards and watch Dragon Ball Z on TV. Cartoons are great, and all, and I still appreciate them even to this day, but when it comes to animated shows, Anime is simply better. There’s no denying that most Anime shows are drawn in far better quality as opposed to Western cartoons - and their themes are always far more adult and serious as well. Heck, even the original manga plot of Yu-Gi-Oh has far more adult themes and situations than the average Western cartoon, and Yu-Gi-Oh is one of the most child-friendly Animes there is.With that being said, as far as the adult factor goes in Animes, there are plenty of Anime shows that take a turn for the X-rated - I’m talking of course about Hentai. Hentai will always be one of my favorite, top three genres in pornography - I can’t go more than a few days without revisiting this little favorite XXX genre of mine and blowing a few loads to it. The mere drawing style and quality of an average Hentai series are enough to get any Anime fan hooked, let alone the sex scenes.But as much as I love Hentai, it can’t replace the quality reading time that a good doujinshi offers. Doujinshi are pretty much Hentai in comic form, and they’ve only recently begun to emerge as one of the most popular genres of 2D pornography on the internet. Any person who’s a fan of 2D pornography will definitely appreciate a good doujinshi, and one of the best places to find quality doujinshi content is none other than Reddit’s very own /r/Doujinshi subreddit. This place is full of well-drawn quality doujinshi - in fact, it’s pretty much the internet’s doujinshi hall of fame because every single doujinshi on this subreddit has been uploaded by an avid fan who knows how to properly determine whether a piece of 2D pornography is good or bad.In fact, I don’t think regarding this subreddit as the unofficial best website on the internet for doujinshi content would be too farfetched, seeing as how the content that gets uploaded here is hand-picked by only the most enthusiastic of doujinshi fans. So without further ado, let me break down all the pros and cons of this subreddit and help you get a clear picture of what it can offer you.

Plenty Of Colored Content

This subreddit does have its fair share of black and white doujinshi, which is how they’re usually drawn as an art form. But there are also a fair amount of colored works and titles here too - I don’t really care whether or not a doujinshi is colored or not, so long as its artwork and plot are of acceptable quality. But I will admit that colored doujinshi give me that extra “oomph” when I fap to them, which is something black and white works and titles lack. With that being said, /r/Doujinshi here has its fair share of both kinds, although the non-colored copies are more common.

I watched Anime so much as a kid that I even started picking up words in Japanese - once I was given access to the internet, I immediately started downloading fan-subtitled Animes with Japanese audio from peer-to-peer content downloading platforms like LimeWire and Kazaa. I watched pretty much the entirety of the Dragon Ball series (Including Z and GT), the first two seasons of Pokemon, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Tenchi Muyo, Yu Yu Hakusho, Hunter X Hunter and Naruto in Japanese with English subs.And it’s thanks to that experience that I’ve learned basic Japanese, although it really doesn’t help when I try to talk up girls in real life using the Japanese language, because they mostly laugh at me and end up thinking that I’m a weirdo. Anyhow, I’ve learned the language enough to understand basic, common words and phrases, although I don’t know how to read any of it. That said, translated Japanese doujinshi are always welcome, otherwise, I wouldn’t be able to understand them at all. And all of the works and titles that are uploaded onto /r/Doujinshi here are translated into English, which definitely enhances my fapping experience.

As Far As Censorship Goes…

Censorship will always be an issue when it comes to Japanese-made XXX material because of the existence of a silly Japanese law that dictates that all Japanese-made media must censor genitals, including pornography. That said, there are plenty of censored works and titles on this subreddit which do hinder my fapping experience in the same way that censored Hentai videos do. But don’t fret - not every doujinshi here is censored.Some are only partially censored, meaning that the genitals aren’t blurred, are only obscured by a few thick black lines. Others are fully censored - but there are also works and titles on this subreddit that are completely uncensored. I’ve noticed that it’s usually the colored doujinshi that are uncensored here, which makes sense because some of these illustrators want to give you the full visual spectrum of their work, which means their doujinshi will be in full color as well as uncensored. So yes, if you ever wanted to see Lady Tsunade’s fat vagina in full, uncensored color, then /r/Doujinshi is a subreddit where you can do just that - which brings me to my next point...

There Are Plenty of Parodies Too

Fapping to Hentai has pretty much become an old-age tradition for me, and when I do muster up the strength and will to blow a load to this wonderful format of 2D pornography, I usually rely on the Porn Dude’s site listings in order to find a new and exciting Hentai website that I haven’t blown a load to yet. With that in mind, I can tell you that there’s plenty of great, original Hentai content to find on the internet and unwind to, but sometimes I feel like revisiting my childhood and fapping to an XXX parody of an old classic Anime I used to religiously follow. But creating a video-based Hentai XXX parody of a famous Anime is certainly harder than drawing it.That said, there are plenty of great XXX parodies on /r/Doujinshi here. This subreddit may be home to plenty of content that features original worlds and characters, but it also has its fair share of XXX parodies too. You can get more than your fill of XXX parodies here which use characters from various famous Animes like Dragonball, Naruto, Yu Yu Hakusho, Bleach, One Piece and so on. This Subreddit Has a Few Different Flairs To Help Organize Its Content

I’ve reviewed a fair bit if XXX subreddits, but I haven’t come across one that takes advantage of Reddit’s flair system quite like this one. There are scores of subreddits that refrain from taking advantage of this content organization tool that’s unique to Reddit, but /r/Doujinshi here has integrated a few different flair styles in order to help its subscribers mill through its diverse content. This subreddit contains the following flair styles; “sticky,” “incest,” “monster girl,” “neotare,” “vanilla,” “femdom,” “futa,” “rape” and “gender bender.” This is one of the few subreddits that actually care to take advantage of Reddit’s flair system, so if you’re an avid doujinshi fan then you should definitely be grateful, because most other XXX subreddits are more-or-less random content dumps.
