It currently looks bland and dated, and the white background doesn’t make matters any better in terms of visual appeal. There is also a hint of confusion, and I got lost a few times when attempting to locate something. Granted, there is an FAQ section, but it’s not really helpful in that regard as it primarily acts as a Wiki and won’t necessarily have the kind of information you’d normally expect of an FAQ section. Will that deter you from making the best out of the tool? Not really, but it’s my job to point out such things.There is not much to write home regarding the dated graphics either. However, considering that these guys are doing all this for free, it would be a bit unrealistic to expect them to put a lot of effort and money into making the design look a bit modern. The best thing to do? I’ll quit the bitching and enjoy what these guys are offering since it’s free. If I had enough money, maybe I’d grab these folks a few drinks as a sign of appreciation.

If you get stuck on the journey when using JDownloader, the tool has enough supporting cast that you may reach out to in case of any inquiries. I know I wrote off the Wiki/FAQ tab as practically redundant since it is confusing and may not have the answers to your queries, but the Board and Support tabs should come in handy. The Board tab has a forum where you should find valuable information to help you best utilize the services offered.I found the support tab more useful as clicking on it takes you to the Support.JDownloader.org page, which is certainly better than the JDownloader.org page. How, you ask? Well, the FAQ section is really useful for starters. You can also contact the support team and enjoy the experience in a way better design, and, surprisingly, they’ve not adopted this design for the primary site.The support page has two tabs; The Knowledgebase tab and the Submit a Ticket tab. Looking for any information pertaining to the download tool? Look no further than the Knowledgebase tab. The Submit a Ticket tab, on the other hand, adopts a question approach and you can submit a ticket with your questions and someone will be on hand to get back to you ASAP.

Possible concerns

Awful design; the primary site could use a better design. The graphics definitely look dated and could use plenty of improvement. The support site looks much better.The FAQ section is not helpful; the site offers plenty of support to users, but the not on the FAQ tab where you’d expect to know more regarding how the tool operates. For that, you’ll have to use the support tab.
